The Side Air Bags deploy from the seat.

The Side Curtain Air Bags deploy from the ceiling.

Hey now the more I think about it I have airbags on the side of the seats and on the headrail it says airbag as well. It is a 2003 touring.

Im gonna go against the grain and say you don't need em. The z is a very very safe car as it is, sure it's nice to know you have them but that is extra weight in the worst place.

Geez, man, if weight is that important go on a diet & lose the 5-10 lbs to balance out weight of airbags.

True it's not alot of weight but its fairly high up in the car which is not so good.

Right.

Maybe I should trade my forged wheels for heavier ones. That would lower the CG some more...

Anybody actually thinking NOT to get SCABs because of weight considerations should not buy a pig heavy car like the Z !!!

+1 to the roll cage question....do they get in the way of the scab?

That would be dependant on the roll bars design.

A roll cage would most certainly be in the way.
