Default nismo radiator cap blows up

so i bought a nismo radiator cap and about a week later my car started over heating like crazy. so i took it to the dealer. turns out the seal in the radiator cap had gone bad and fluid was going up into the cap actually under the label. when it got hot you could actually see the label bubble up. so the dealer not only gave me a new factory cap but ordered me a new nismo. so if you're gonna get a nismo radiator cap, keep an eye on it and keep your receipt!!!

Just peel the orange sticker off the stock cap. Works fine and looks better than an aftermarket cap.

That last one is the one I saw going for $12.00. Nismo packs them pretty elaboratly and the top decal is seperate, so you can apply it facing the right direction.

What's the difference between that cap and the regular one besides the sticker? At least the $75 one is billet. I do however believe that anyone that pays $75 for a radiator cap and then puts cheap tires on his car needs a swift kick to the ***.

I've had mine over a year. No problems at all.

No useful difference. From what I remember, my stock cap looks the exact same but without a nismo logo...
