I don't have the DPX-301 but i have the DPX-701, looks pretty much the same except the screen and the USB port.

awesome, looks great. the outer ring looks like it's curved a bit to match the curvature of the dash opening, but the actual deck face is flat. how do the unit's display colors match the stock dash colors (orange) at night?

looks pretty nice, i was thinking about getting one. How does the USB work on this, is it for some sort of a mp3 player or can you plug in a flash drive and it'll read from it.

i actually ended up installing the dpx501 in my car a few weeks ago. the install wasn't too bad, but the dash kit did require a bit of customization before it went in. nothing that can't be performed with a sturdy pair of scissors and a file.

the USB is great. i loaded a bunch of mp3s to my flash drive and it just reads directly off the drive. the files play in the order you put them on your flash drive.

Okey!!! but how it looks?....it match with the factory amber color of the interior lights?
