Yeah, that sucks. And CF cant be repaired like F-glass, unless you're prepared to paint over it.

Look at it this way, you're way better off than the rabbit.

wrong.. the lip is still somewhat in tact.. the rabbit on the other hand... will not see another day.. and did you not see the blood? the lip came home.. the rabbit is lying on the road in a pool of its own blood.. it wont be going home tonight

i almost bought a CF lip and then decided not to cuz of contruction and **** around here right now, decided to wait, well in the last 2 weeks i have hit 2 racoons and have not messed up my bumper in anyone elses eyes...i can see the damage plain as day but its just small crease marks...argh...i may have to get new bumper sooner rather than later as long as the damn racoons stay outta my way

 

that sucks clayton, for you and the rabbit....so if animals have "cognitive thought" i wonder what the rabbit was thinking at the exact moment you realized you were going to hit him/her......like joint freaked outness then probably an "aw fuq" from the rabbit.....hmmmmm

 

Wow... I've hit curbs, skunks, and other crap with my Veilside CF and it never cracked... Anyway, I think I'd fix the lip. It looks like you could paint the sides super black to match and leave the undamaged center CF?
