How/when do you double clutch/rev-match?
#21
basically no one post anything about anything is what they are saying...bc everything has already been talked about. Some people think they are the police of this site. i dont understand...ive asked people about my350z.com, and they always say, "people on there on a-holes"...or somehting like that. Its becoming crazy how you cant ask a ? without someone saying search....
But rev matching is ....lets say your in 4th, and you want to down shift, you hit the cluth, and u know if u go into third the car rpms will jump high and make a loud sound...instead, when u have the clutch pressed in, you tap the gas to where u think the car would bring the rpm if u shifted into 3rd...this equals no hard jerk and less stress on the tranny.

I've been using internet forums since before most of you ever touched a computer, so don't give me that BS.
This blue striped "newb patrol" crap is pretty damn childish too. The original idea might have been cute but it's just getting lame. You think these people would have something better to do than go around thinking they're some kind of forum police. Don't have much of a life, eh? Hell, half of these idiots are newbs themselves. They don't ever add anything substantial to threads, just a bunch of mindless yapping.
Here is a novel approach. If you don't like a thread, DON'T POST. If someone else wants to waste their time answering a repetative question, IT'S NOT YOUR PROBLEM. Shut your mouth and move on. There will ALWAYS be forum newbies. You can't "police" them forever, and acting like you're some kind of superior person is downright laughable.
^^^ So True. I dont understand...most of the time they ruin a thread...

I'm working in Corporate America as a "Professional" with no "boss" unlike most of yourselves. I can post whenever I please at work without worry. I'm currently working out of town and staying in a Hilton Hotel, sitting in bed on wireless internet, and drinking Bass.
Do I have much better to be doing considering I am happily 'married' to my significant other?
Nopeeee... messing with the newbs is about as fun as it comes.

I rev match whenever possible.
I double clutch into reverse, and when i'm downshifting into first at over 10mph.
If you're dropping quickly into 2nd from 4th gear (eg end of straight towards hairpin) then you can either change to third then 2nd, or double clutch into 2nd.
