LOL......what do you think you're buying, a Tiburon? Good luck finding a 05 Track model Z (rolled off a lot for near $35K) that has already suffered $13K or more depreciation. People are still buying 03 Enthusiast models for $20K and Track models for $25K.

Get a tiburon, its no comparison. Z is for pansy teenagers, the tiburon is for classy upscale gentlemen...

the Tib handles better, weighs less, uses less gas, has better warranty, seats 4, has better value, higher resale value, more power to the front wheels (FWD Better to drive on freeways covered in oil) , and to top it all off, Nissan is being bought out by GM, so that means the interior will be plastic and the warranty will only cover the first 3 weeks of purchase.

So dude, get a tiburon, don't try to be a hero.

Z = suck.
I hope this was a joke, because I am laughing.

But you won't drive a Tiberon the same as a Z because you can't. The Tiberon can't accelerate, turn, or decelerate at the same rate as the Z and therefore it won't put the same wear on the parts.

That's why you can't drive a tiburon like you drive a Z.

dont go with tiburon the 100k warranty has to be on the car so a bank will pick up the loan. banks wont loan money on kia's or hyundai's without the extended warranty. that tells you something about the car.

hey did you get your tiburon yet? how do you like it? i heard you can get a hyundai tuned tiburon with a factory twin turbo for only $2k more. it gets you 310fwhp, not bad for a 1.6liter inline 5.

had my Z for about 1.5 years now... i can't stand driving any other cars in my driveway... 01 tacoma, '00 civic... they are all tedious to drive... i'm sure i'd feel the same way about a front wheel drive car that is seriously lacking in power...

If you're buying your Z from a dealer i would have to say there can't really be that much to worry about... i bought mine from a dealer WHILE IT WAS IN THE REPAIR SHOP... ON THE LIFTS... 34K for 03 Touring with 26K miles... now that i look back at it... probably wasn't too smart... but I haven't had any problems with it... currently have 50K trouble free miles... and i drove nowhere like a granny...

350Z's aren't as used an abused as old RX7's and Turbo Supras. They're just a couple years old. Just make sure you get one from a dealer and not a private seller to be safe. Nissan Dealer, Ford, Honda, Chevy, etc. Not a mom and pop dealer.

why is this post even a question?
drive a tiburon, keep it clean, as a matter of fact get a red one, enjoy it, take a girl out on a date in it. then when she see's me in my Z crusin by she start drooling. when she snaps out of it she will slap you in the head and call you a dumbass.

then youll know you've been hit by the chickmagnet!!
get a Z dude. you can thank me later.
cheers

if you have an M3 why buy a Z?? Then again, i dont know you, so maybe youre a super baller or something. lol. If i had an M3 i was paying for (maybe a note and insurance) id get another CHEAP car. so in your case i might go for the tibby. But as far as a comparison, there is none in the case of Z v. Tiburon. Z owns

The obvious trade-off is looks/power/brand/RWD with the Z vs.
badass warranty/no hassles (new car)/back seat/mpg with the Tib...

What do you guys think?

(Btw I'm posting the same thing over at Newtiburon.com ... I'll be interested to see the answers )

Thanks!

If you are concerned with about rear seats there is always a G35.... Id get a 350Z over a Tiburon anyday of the week due to performance reasons, resale value, handling, looks, huge aftermarket support, Z's are kick *** cars. Although i no longer have my 04' Z it was a blast while i had it, i just preferred a older Z car.

dude, get a tiburon. what are you thinking? why would you get a 350z when you already have an m3?

the m3 is already rwd, why would you want another rwd? get a tiburon because its fwd...

you could even attach your m3 rwd suspension onto your fwd tiburon and make it awd.... awd and the 2.7liter turbo tiburon engine would totally smoke a Z in every way.

plus, i heard they're going to discontinue the Z in favor of a new 2 seater Sentra 2.2L hybrid w/224hp supercharged.

I had a 2003 Tiburon GTV6 and it spent more time at the dealership for repairs from random things breaking than I spent driving it..............And I bought it for only 13K fully loaded so just want to let you know that your kind of getting ripped off by buying a tib for that price. Traded mine in for my Z and not a single problem...........go Z
