B... and for your other question of which will win on the track... I personally didn't do a lot of research on the S but I believe both cars have advanages... The Z with more Hp and the S being lighter... So I think a lot of it has to do with the driver...
~For the reason of why should we buy the Z instead of the S... There could be many reasons... Me personally I really really hated the interior of the S... How the stereo controls are left of the wheel... And the S just doesn't feel that safe when I sat in it... The Z on the other hand felt a lot better... Even though the Z's interior isn't super nice either... I like it... its nice and simple...

The 350Z beat the s2000 by 15 seconds on the Nuremberg tracks. Fifteen seconds is huge on a road course.

People have said that is not fair since Nuremberg's track reward faster cars. I say: BOOHOO. If we found a course that Rewarded cars that was geared towards cars like the s2000, do you think it would be fair then? I'm glad the 350Z is a good all around car design to do good in corners as well as on the straightways so that it can beat the s2000 on a track like Nuremberg.

Also, remember, just because the S2000 can enter a corner better than a 350Z doesn't mean that it can exit the corner better than the 350Z. Cornering is just not about entering, it also helps to have lots of torque to exit a corner.

Anyhoo, just my two cents.

And as for the question, depends on the corner. Z is less nimble in sharp twisties but once you've turned in it's lateral g's are as good or better. Stock for stock.

B But I would have to say that the best cars have both power and handeling. Like a perfect mixture of both. The Z would be best in a catagory not like this one where it is rated clearly in a handeling comparasin. I have a MR2 Spyder that I would like compared to a s2000 in handeling because that is what they were built for, handeling. I would pick the MR2 because of its more balanced and less weight then the s2000 and I have driven both cars and feel more conected to the road in the spyder, it handels like a go-cart.

Fifteen seconds is huge on most road courses, not so much on the 'ring.
