Stupid Question: What do you pre-'06 guys do without cup holders?

I use my Z(2006) as a daily driver and I have to have coffee in the morning, spillproof cup in the center console, at one time i did ponder the question of 4 cup holders in a two seat car until my ex-wife got in with a water and a soda, needless to say, the soda never made it in the car, but I think there are people who have multiple beverages at one time in thier cars, or thier just pigs and leave empty sh&t in there and rotate it between cup holders....

Haha, maybe they're clumsy?
I always have food and drinks in my car...never had a spill or anything. You just have to corner way slower or you'll spill **** probably.

speaking for myself I worked very hard for this car and I take alot of pride in it, just don't want it to get all fuqued up is all, carpet and seats are expensive if you have to replace them because some a&&hole spills something in it, not to mention a lingering stench, i particular don't care for the smell of old beer, food whatever.....it's my car not a dinning room....

I agree that I would never put a liquid anything in the cupholder that pops out of the dash. That's just asking to spill something over the audio controls.
On the console, I'm coordinated enough to manage that. No problems so far.

OP: Don't drink or eat in your Z. Honor the interior and it will reward you by not smelling like an old refrigerator and/or not looking like the throw rug on your bathroom floor.

I am not sure if you can even call them cupholders... Kinda rinky dinky.
I don't have any spills in my Z, cause I'm usually the only one in it. My wife likes her CAMRY, and the kids usually go with her, so I am a free man, to get loos ein the Z at any time.
I did carry an open can of DP this morning... living on the edge you know.
My cars gets sideways enough, that any beverage can not be justified.

Used to have a T-shirt that said "never drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink", bought in St. Thomas, cute, but all jokes aside never do it, seen to many accidents. Never thought the cupholder thread would get this reaction...

From their location, it looks like the liquid would take out a door speaker.
It alos looks like repeated use would make the container rub against the door skin and casue scratches.
Sorry, kinda negative focused there. I gues the up side is... spare change, cell phone, and misc holder.

And will I spill a drink? Yes. Not because I'm a "little kid" (even though I think I am), but because of how I drive that car. I don't have that no-spill-drive-technique that the guy from the Initial D anime has yet...
