Default I'm an idiot!

So, I head to Walgreens to get some OTC drugs. Woke up with a pounding headache and my stomach being kind of messed up.

Well, pulling in there is a slight decline and it was impossible to see the curb extended in. Well, guess what I ran over? I was freaking out. I don't think I got a lot of it, but the car still went up and I heard something underneath it. Granted, it's my fault, but it was just impossible to see and I have never been there. I looked around and didn't see any damage anywhere. I hope I didn't jack anything up on my car.

For punishment, I am cutting myself off for a week.

If there's no visable body damage then odds are you probably just knocked your alignment out, I would probably have it re-aligned...

I did the same thing in my Maxima. Turned into a freshly paved parking lot...the bastards sprayed the island/curb black as well, there was no way to see it until after I'd gone over it. No damage was done...just couldn't believe they did that.

Now THAT is stupid! (Having the island/curb the same color as the pavement. And especially a dark color.) Owners of that parking lot should be on the hook for damage done to cars who can't see the stupid thing 'cuz they disguised it so well.

Freaking this was the same way here too. No color difference.

The car seemed to drive fine afterwards. Not obviously out of alignment or anything like that. Maybe I just got lucky, but pissed me off something fierce. Partially, I couldn't see it and because I was a freaking moron.

I check around the lower edge of the car around. I then looked underneath it also. Didn't see anything obvious.

What repairs? I haven't found anything wrong with the car. I was barely moving when it happened too (turning right into the parking lot and then right to go park when it happened).

Check your tires. I once hit a curb with about 30 mph (don't ask how, embarrassed already) and I got a nice egg-size bubble on my tire. This is really dangerous to drive with, so check your tires well.

if you can jack the car up and check out the underside just to make sure nothing got pinched or dented.....definately get an alignment, they can check if you jacked up a tie-rod or something

Chances are good that nothing happened. If there is no obvious damage, consider it one of life's very minor mishaps and move on. Most of us have done something similar.
