pretty messed up video, but pretty funny at the end when they confront the district manager.

Thanks for the post. I don't use Jiffy Lube, however, it helps to know who your mechanics are and check behind everyone who touches your cars (not just the Z).

Not all Jiffy Lubes have the same manager and workers in them. In fact most Jiffy Lubes have a dedicated manager and worker staff per location. The point is that any thing can happen any where you take your car for service ... including a Jiffy Lube.

nothing new...people getting ripped off everyday, consumers need to be more vigilant these days. i change my own oil and i got a handpump to change gear oil if needed. i've seen a mechanic who would wipe the old oil filter clean and charge customer for a new filter.

Because of a feeling this may happen with any of my vehicles, any time I'm getting something serviced, I watch what's being done. Helps that we buy a reliable car, too. :-)

some shops charge customers double if customer wants to watch....i ain't kidding lol.

5 out of 9 locations within the same geographical location is a little more than a coincidence IMO.
But again, another reason why most of us that can, do our own vehicle service.
