Z06 is $68-$73k MSRP, but you can't get one for under about $80k.

The most impressive is the Corvette Z06 IMO. A very quick quick lap time yet a relativly low price.

the z06's laptime is amazing. what's more amazing is it did it with run-flat tires.

I think Z06 is A.S.S. :-) To me, its like looking at an srt4 and a neon, etc. Yeah, they've dramatically improved the (front) look of the corvette, which is a big +. But 80k for it, pffft :-) If I were someone I'd wait a few years and chip in more for an exotic car, something that everyone doesn't have. I'm sure many of you see TONS of corvettes around, and a Z06 looks 99.9% like one. Aditionally, its older guys generally rolling around with these, so it doesn't seem like they're being wild on the roads..dunno, i'm thinking its more of patriotism or something, lol. :-)
Just a few of my thoughts, then again, if all owners had my thoughts, they wouldn't be driving Z06s, would they heheh
[not really bashing on `em, just saying 80k could be spent another way...]

Bingo. The track Top Gear uses is sort of a squiggly figure eight.

like everyone else said, the times are a little skewed. I think they said the NSX-R was on par with the Aston Martin because the time they posted was in the wet. And the stig spun it after that lap.
