WTF is that NOISE?!
I have like a pss pss pss pss noise that I can hear when I'm driving slow. The sound is proportion to the tire rotation or the speed, in which incrementally speeds up as I go faster. Kinda sound like a sprinkler or sum'n. Any ideas? It's driving me NUTZ.

Sounds like you brake dust shields are rubbing on the rotor a little.

Man I got the same problem. It's so friggin annoyng. When I got the Z one week later I had to service the brakes. The tech put in new pads and said that he had to cut the rotors!? Maybe that has something to do with it.

anyhow, so you don't hear the sound when your just idling? I get a similar noise, but I'm sure mine is an exhaust leak.

Did you do any hard braking and keep the brake depressed after for a while? you can warp the rotor if you strain the rotor too much and leave the pads heated and touching the rotor for a long time.

You are hearing the normal hiss of your car as it's running..but since you are probably driving by a curb on the driver's side or a fense or wall.. you hear it much better as it echos back to you. It's your spokes on your rims that blocks the sound on and off again as the wheel rotates which is also why it's pace speeds up incrementally as you accelerate. Not a prob at all if you ask me. PS: you probably only can hear it at night when it's quiet and you have your windows down right? no biggie.
