PS: you probably only can hear it at night when it's quiet and you have your windows down right? no biggie.
I have the same problem, but I hear it all day everyday not just at night. I want to get rid of it.

My guess is that you *and I* are just hearing the hiss of the fuel line. It's constant and always pumps the full amount of gas the car would ever need if you were to floor the engine. I can even hear the hiss/whine with the windows up while the car is stationary as it idles. I like it though. Maybe there is something you can do about it tho, like replace the fuel line with a wider, less restrictive one??? totally random guess on the solution though.

wow, get this, it wasn't the brakes at all. I had a low air pressure on the tire where the noise was coming from. WTF
well, the sound is gone, now.
