Hey ALLL

2 webby's for the STi and Evo owners. seeing you are in california, you should enjoy a Z out there. i would go with the Z. people have their opinions on each car but at least the insurance wont be half as bad cuz there is no turbo involved.

[QUOTE=Kyromoto] I found this site cause im debating between getting a 06 Subaru WRX STI or a Nissan 350z. /QUOTE]
They are very different cars. One is sedan and the other is a true sports car with hard steering, hard clutch, very firm suspension and a nice V6. I'm not particularily fond of the STi, I prefer the Evo (IX MR). Why? I think its looks better and more serious, plus the Japanian credibility is a bonus. Plus, I hate the Subaru hood scoop.
I will say this, though: The Z is a very nice car to look at. The Sti, i dont know. I respect it, though. Its a pretty fast machine. A lot quicker off the line. In the highway, the plot thickens and the Z comes back with a vengance! Beware. Check the specs:
2004 Sti: weight 3263 lb, height 56.3", length 173.8", width 68.5", wheelbase 100", ground clearance 5.7"
350z: weight (03 base) 3188 lb, height 51.9", length 169.4", width 71.5", wheelbase 104.3"
06 911 (for comparison): weight 3,384 lb, height 51.6", length 175.6", width 72.9", wheelbase 92.5"
The Z is shorter, even though its shorter than a 911 its almost as wide and wider that the Sti by 3", wheelbase is 4" longer and the car is also 4" shorter so you can imagine how stable the Z is, and RWD that with a limited slip can get mighty fun to drive and track.
