How far does the passenger seat recline?
I would *love* a Z... unfortunately, I have a bit of a space requirement, and the cross-brace in the back made me sure the Z wouldn't work for me.
I play bass (acoustic/upright/double/string/whatever you want to call it) (looks like a big cello, if that helps.) It's about 5.5 feet tall, probably 3 feet wide, and 18" deep.
Does the Z passenger seat recline enough that I could somehow wedge it in the passenger seat (with the head & neck sticking into the back)?
Any other thoughts on how I could fit it? Don't suggest hacksaws, hammers, etc, please I would love a Z, but not enough to give up my bass.
(I've fit it into an 85 ford escort, a 88 camry, a 92 maxima, and currently it rides quite happily in my 98 Integra. For the camry and maxima I had to put it diagonally across the seats from rear left to front right. The other two are hachbacks without the blasted crossbrace )
Thanks for any thoughts!
George

Id bet you could fit it, either the way you said, or lay it between the seats, with the neck laying between the front seats, and the bottom in the "trunk"
best solution tho would be to bring it up to the dealer and tell them you have to be able to fit it. if they help you to figure out how it will fit, they sell a car. shouldnt be an unreasonable request.
