new steering wheel w/ controls

Does anyone know if its possible to put an 06 steering wheel on an 05 so that you can connect the steering wheel controls to one of thos things that work for an aftermarket stero and still be able to use your cruise control...

might be a stupid question my bad if it is

I don't see why it can't be done since the steering column saw no changes this year, only the wheel did. But I don't know of anyone personally who has done it.
