Default New Dealer Info

I just got off the phone with my dealer. (Gerald Nissan, North Aurora,IL) The sales manager told me delivery is to start at the end of this month and begining of August. Could that be what Rxo, aka Yoda, is alluding to when he talks about ships going through the canal all the time? Are our beloved Z's on the way? He also said that after they get their preorders in they will not recieve the regular z stock until Jan. We will be in rare air at least for a few months. But we all know by now it could still be a bunch of b.s.

mdouvris, i purchased my car there as well!

Two weeks ago i talked to my sales rep and he said september arrival.

Then last week, i called the sales manager and he knew nothing about delivery, or our gift. He was a total waste. I'm really getting upset with these people.

Hey Dvlad,
I thought it kind of strange as well. This is the first time I recieved any hard information. When did you order? I don't see the date on Scaf's sheet. By the way, did you go to their web site and get the $100 off coupon? We can say we paid under msrp at least

I have had my share of frustration over their lack of information and total ignarance of the car itself, but I have come to realize that they are not a 350Z dealer but a Nissan dealer and all they are worried about is their commission status this week and the commission on our cars is out another month or two. So I just sit here with the knoweledeg that the car is soon to be here.

AAAAHHHHH! **#@$*!!!!!
I just got off the phone with my dealer, who had great news for me (or so he thought). My car showed up on their inventory sheet with all of the correct options. The bad news is the ETA was listed as October 31st. *#*%*$#!!!! I'm his one and only pre-order, and obviously the customers of smaller dealers are getting the short end of the stick.

Don't feel so bad, my dealer tells me they don't know a thing about the car. When it's coming in, an order number, nothing at all.
