Is the 2003 Stock the quickest 0-60?
Well, let`s see, the Z has been putting on weight every year and I am not sure but I heard that the 03 and the early 04, you could reprogram the ECU for higher performance as to you colud not on the 04.5 an on ....

OK, those are good points, but didn't they also improve the engine to make more hp in the 05's and 06's? (287 up to 300 now)
Wouldn't that make up for a few more pounds of weight?

Also factor of area under the tq curve and not just peak. HP figure is derived from TQ anyway. Although the 06 is the heaviest which would be more a factor on this. 2 gallons of gas and me weigh a max of a 150 lbs not to woried about it.
I have no feathering issues whatsoever and i weigh under 3200lbs.
I also like having 14 more ft/lbs. of torque rather than 13hp. I got that hp back with the spacer anyways and gained torque as well.
