Drive it in the rain all of the time, if you can only call Florida "Toad Stranglers" rain. No problems with the Bridgestone "Lack of Potenza's Tires". Just keep it at a safe and steady speed and avoid big puddles and quick movements. But as soon as they wear out going with the PS2 or Advans, not sure which yet. I have heard that the PS2 is a lot quieter and no complaints about the handling of them, have not found anyone who has the Advans to talk to yet.

Love to do it! In the last week, I've been caught in some serious downpours here in Denver; the worst one being just last night. The Z drove through them all like a champ! Negotiating 75mph curves on the highway with 0.5" water in half the lane almost seems like "just another day on the road". I am sold on the Toyos' wet traction ability, to say the least.

My BASE model handles perfectly fine in the rain. I would like an LSD tho...these one legger burn outs are damaging my ego.

+2 I also try to keep my Z pretty clean, though she's no show car. I rarely drive in the rain.

Mine's sort of a garage queen. Trying to get more time in on the weekends and drive it in to work on Fridays. But I have a civic I use as a daily driver.

I usually ride my motorcycle when its sunny and rerserve my Z for wet/cold. No offense (I love my Z) but the bike is more fun.

And for hte topic, while i'm not afraid to drive it in the rain for safety reason, I do hate how dirty my car gets from it.

I live in a newly developed area, meaning all the water that hits my car/wheels are muddy water. Everything time after I drive in the rain, the lips on my rims get SO much mud/dust/dirt on them...to the point that it's BLACK when wet. After the car dries off, my entire car turns to a very light shade of brown haha.

One time I took it to the dealership for an oil change, and I heard the mech comment on my car, saying "what the hell did this guy do, go off road with this car?!?" hahaha. So if it's raining when I leave the house, I usually just take my corolla instead :P

I try not to drive it in the rain, but in Miami it's hard to avoid. I have a Nismo intake so I try and avoid big puddles at all costs. Even with the bypass valve. It would suck to have a hydrolocked engine.

The thing that really drives me nuts it when I'm done washing the car and it's clean about 10 minutes later it rains on the car and makes it dirty all over again.
