I don't think that *not* driving it in the rain means that they are afraid... I drive mine veryday since it is my only car

I used to avoid driving it in heavy rains, mainly because the stock Potenza's hydroplane so easily. Now that I've got new wheels and much better tires, I don't let water bother me at all.....

IMO...It depends on the SEVERITY of the rain ...A serious non-stop downpour = Z stays home b/c I still have the Potenza Summer Performance Tires. If it's a light to moderate rain, I'll use the Z, but I'll just be cautious not to drive too fast or stop too suddenly.

Not unless I have to and I don't because I have two other vehicles. One is a company car and they pay for everything........free ride.

It's not the rain that hurts the Z. It's the hydroplaneing that kills them. Even if you are a great driver, once you loose control that's it.
