Default Le Mans Sunset: Long lasting appeal?

I am thinking about buying a Z in LS, but I am just wondering how the color is in the long run. Some things that I was wondering is do any owners of a LS Z ever get tired of the color? Also how does it show dirt and scratches?

My last car was the same color (though GM called it Fusion Orange Mettalic) and I never got tired of it. Dirt doesn't show up that bad on it, just makes the orange darker where its dirty.

I almost purchased my ZR in LS but got a little bit leary on the color as time went by while I was looking for one to purchase. I still do "Like" the color, but I dont "Love" it so much. Maybe if it had a bit more of a red hugh to it?

I was nervous about the color when I first ordered it, but I love mine more every day. As far as dirt goes, you don't really notice how dirty it was until you wash it. It just gets darker orange as it gets dirtier. Then you wash it and it looks shiny and amazing again.

If I were to buy the next generation Z in a couple of years, it would be Lemans Sunset again.

I like it, kind of a throw back to an orange 240Z I want.

Although I think here in Austin, everyone thinks it's burnt orange and wants the Longhorn color on their car.

Always get heaps of comments every time I stop somewhere of people who can't resist coming over to check out the Zed when at the gas station. Not sick of the colour yet, 2 years later and it's best friend is Meguiars Tech Wax range and the rest of the NXT range if you want to keep your Zed looking real hot. And yeah, only gets a bit darker when a bit of dirt on the 350.

I have a 2005 and I love it! It is the color of the Z prototype and in my opinion it is the signature color of the 350Z! I am a little disturbed to hear that they are going to use it for the Sentras and Maximas now. I had hoped they would keep it Z specific.

No biggie...Nissan has been making cars in similar shades of oranges for the past few years and just calling them different things. Off the top of my head I can think of the Maxima, Spec V, Murano, and FX. We all know the Z looks the best.

Silverstone takes a close second to being the best color available.
