AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

So what's new? the VQHR and 15-ish HP, plus a BIG hood?

Maybe I'll just go get a Z06.

lol this had better haul some serious *** in the 0-60 if I'm going to consider it over an 06 or whatever. I think the hood needs to be seen 1) in person and 2) at different angles to make an adequate assessment

It reminds me of the "Blue Devil" vette, with it's buldging test hood. NISSAN please don;t buy into FORD or we'll be seeing 350Zs with hood scoops and side flares.

Per the Nissannews.com blurb "Charting the changes":

The 2007 Nissan 350Z is scheduled to go on sale in January 2007. The changes for the new model year will include new exterior colors, a new gray colored convertible top (Roadster models), Active Head Restraints and performance enhancements including a new VQ35HR engine.

The 2007 350Z will again be available in Coupe and Roadster body styles and in an array of models – four for the Coupe, including a Grand Touring model, and three for the Roadster (including the Grand Touring automatic transmission version).

More information on the 2007 Nissan 350Z will be available at a later date.
Four coupe models... I figure the Base, Enthusiast, Touring, Grand Touring. Three roadsters... I also figure the Enthusiast, Touring, Grand Touring... sound to me like the Track model is gone.

It just doesnt look right with the bump on the hood. That sucks cuz if you put an aftermarket hood its still gonna have that thing in the middle for clearance and not keep the lines flowing.

You've got to wonder why there's been no other coverage of this sighting?

I think it's a TRICK! ... or at least I hope it is?

Might as well get the 06. Do you think 6 extra HP is going to make a difference in 0-60 times. It did nothing from the 287-300 change and that was a 13 HP diff

anyone know the TQ on the new engine.

I think its 6 extra with the new standards, under the old standards its more like 15 hp so 315 hp
