I used a piece of wood to protect the car from the hydrolic jack.

Then I place my stand parallel to the flange, behind it. There is a stiffening emboss just behind it. No bending of the flange anymore...

That's where I lift from. You're right, it is a ***** getting the jack under there, that's why I need to use ramps. Thanks for the info on the other spots. Strangely to me, it does seem to be less hassle to jack up each front corner one at a time rather than get it up on the ramps and left the whole front end one time.
