I'm sorry but I have to disagree. If the woman is the reason I'm going with a slushbox and removing 90% of the fun from the car, I'm already doing my part to keep her happy. Now it's her job to keep ME happy.

Did your wife help pay for it? If she did, I understand. If you just needed permission,.........well............you have no use for a sack. What if your wife wanted a different color than you? Would you have got a different color? I too have an awesome marriage. I would consult with her also in making large purchases that don't have to do with my business. My wife would tell me to get whatever makes me happy. Your wife told you to get what makes her happy. That's awesome.

Wow... it's just funny how this threads start with a question about AT or MT and ends up with whose wife is making you happier... ha ha … I would get the manual, I have it and love it! Drive both and make a decision.

You obviously don't spend much time on here. I saw a thread about white meat vs. dark meat turn ito a conversation about bewbs (obviously it was going there) and then into an old man crapping his pants.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..automatic is NOT ok...it's un-ok

it's funny how these guys come into my dealership and tell me that they have to check with their wives...WTF??? remember, this is YOUR car...tell her that when it's her turn to get a new car, then you'll let her pick what SHE wants...and since this is YOUR car, you get to pick what YOU want...remember "ME ME ME ME ME ME"

It's fine. You'll love it. Buy it and be happy.

Where in Michigan are you? That's my home state.

Joe, you married, by chance? If not - very understandable!

'course when I told my husband I was considering both the Volvo C70 and the Z, he told me "buy what makes you happy." I showed up a few hours later with the red Z and surprised him!

All of us married types have our ways of making our spouses happy...
