Default Need help resetting ECU

Yes, I tried the search for about 40 minutes; just moved so I can't find my shop manuel disc. Also went to the Technosquare site. Can someone help me w/the Technosquare link to this info. Thanks.

make sure you do it exactly as it says. you'll need a stopwatch.
I've done it plenty of times when my loaner ECU wasn't fully recognized by my car so it would go into "limp mode" every 35 miles.

Here's my summary of the reset instructions from TS's page
1. Turn the key to ACC, start stopwatch at the same exact time
2. At 00:03 seconds press the accel pedal in and out 5 times and stop just before you reach 00:08
3. Do nothing until 00:16, at 00:16 press the accel pedal down.
4. Let go of pedal at 00:26
5. Press again at 00:36
(Check engine light should start blinking from a slow blink to a fast blink by now)
6. Let go at 00:46
7. Press again at 00:56
8. Let go at 01:06
9. Turn off car
10. Restart Car, CEL should be gone/ECU is now reset

I've reset mine a few times too. I never needed a stop watch either(although it would help). I illiterately-shorthanded the instructions onto a little piece of paper. The first time I was a little sloppy with my timing and it didnt work but the other times I was a little more methodical and it worked no problem. To me it seems much easier than popping the hood and disconnecting the battery and pumping the brakes yadda yadda. Very easy to turn a key and pump a pedal.

My car has been in the body shop for over a month now with the battery unplugged..................does that count as a reset?

I've done mine before when I install my intake and my plenum spacer from Motordyne. Instructions came with it and it was simple to do.

I usually just unplug my battery overnight or on the weekend. I don't have the dexterity for the little pedal dance you have to do.
