Default So I decided to trade in the Z

But I'm going to get another Z so don't worry boys and girls.

I decided I'm going to get the '07 Z, only if it comes with the new vq35hr engine.

Also im sure there will be other minor changes that I will like

Im am for sure going to get every option I was not able to get with this Z and will be buying it in Redline for sure.

Yes I want the gt-r, but lets be honest.....we cant all afford it. Never really cared for the g35 and lets face it the supra is just a pipe dream.

But, if the new Z does not have the HR motor...I will be going with the stillen stage 2 for the rev up motor, which promises 120 + hp(we'll see)...i would love to have a turbo but in california thats just not a problem i want to deal with , especially after what happened to mark(blublrr)

So what are your thoughts...am I crazy?

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. What options are you going to get this time? Has Nissan posted an approximite price for the GTR?

I personally dont think a navi system would be that useful, then again I dont travel alot, and when I do its usually with more people in a larger vehicle.

I have the navigation, never thought id really use it. To my amazement it comes in handy and is really nice. Keeps up with your oil and oil filter replacement life and is just overall handy. Besides girls always get wet when they see a screen in your car.

seems kind of stupid to take a depreciation hit on your car for basically the same car w/ a few more horsepower. It's not like the 07 is going to run low 12s stock versus pre-07s high 13s/low 14s.

Well I'm sorry for test driving other cars since I had a free afternoon and nothing better to do.

Next time I won't write any of my opinions so you homos don't get your panties in a wad.

Nissannews.com says:

350Z Coupe and 350Z Roadster

The 2007 Nissan 350Z is scheduled to go on sale in January 2007. The changes for the new model year will include new exterior colors, a new gray colored convertible top (Roadster models), Active Head Restraints and performance enhancements including a new VQ35HR engine.

The 2007 350Z will again be available in Coupe and Roadster body styles and in an array of models – five for the Coupe, including a Grand Touring model, and three for the Roadster (including the Grand Touring automatic transmission version).

More information on the 2007 Nissan 350Z will be available at a later date

And in the Infiniti section it says the 2007 G35 sedan will get the VQ35HR and it lists:

· Fourth-generation VQ-series V6, approximately 80% of major parts redesigned, highlights include increased crank journal and pin diameters, addition of standard variable exhaust cam timing (eCVTCS), a higher rev limit (increased from 6,600 rpm to 7,500 rpm) and higher compression ratio (10.6:1 versus the previous 10.3:1), asymmetric piston skirts, twin knock sensors, improved coolant flow and new Iridium spark plugs
