Another "Newbie" on this site.
Ordered an enthusiast model, Silverstone, all options except nav, on March 21.
Packet # 3549, no new info from dealer as of yesterday.
Sold a real nice 2001 Mitsu Eclipse Spyder to help pay for the Z.! Never got attached to it, not enough performance

It makes things easy for a rookie like me to create somthing that everyone can sort and filter as they see fit. I'll work on something else.

Call me crazy, but I'd much rather give my money to Nissan for a Z than give it to Microsoft for a piece of software that I may use twice a year

ordered in mid Jan and order was faxed mid Jan in NJ
Inventory manager said he had 3 R's and 3 S's and to his knowledge the R's weren't coming before the S's all scheduled for Sept.

Just got off the phone with a very nice lady at Nissan Southeast Office and gave me my order number

She also said that VIN should be available by Mid August and that then she would be able to tell me what ship it was coming on, but the interesting part was that she said the ship would be coming in to Jacksonville not the west coast and then trucked to the dealer, this should cut about a week for the east coast orders.
Now just waiting for VIN!! This is killing me.

Ha. My wheels aren't squeaky enough yet. Tried various #'s and can't even get a person. I did get someone from NNA that was able to tell me that the cars were actually being built in Japan...thanks

Spoke with Jacksonville Zone Office. Tracking number is S260044. ETA 9/30/2002. Confirmed port of entry is Jacksonville. If the longshoreman on the west coast strike... we on the east coast will probably receive our Z's first. Then we will call it even since we didn't get the benefit of the pre-production Z's coming theough on tour.
