The tracking number is not on the confirmation package. You will have to call your dealer to get the tracking number.

 

Ordered on FEB 15 dealer faxed in April . Silverstone touring with NAV/Kick. Packet number 03253, Tracking # S265166. Dealer said Sept 8Th. Not that I would ever take any info he gave me seriously. Karl

 

I was at my dealer today and they informed me their first Z is coming in August 24. They expect to have a get together for the pre-order people to see the car.

They also called the region for me and found out my car's ETA is September 30 (S order #), but the hope is they will be delivered several weeks early. The "late date" gives them some room...they would rather get you your car early than late.

BTW, the trip on the boat is 23 days (I'm assuming to the east coast).

Seems to be a bit of a pattern here that the majority of early orders got R numbers.

 

Thank you Barrister. I agree on the R numbers (and S, and T). It was good to see that where sometimes the packet numbers were way off, the order numbers seemed to correct things, Such as NSANY, who ordered on first day, yet got packet 4510. Good to see his order number is more in line with his order date than the packet number. This supported ZISME's post that packet numbers were basically sent based on order date, but there were exceptions. I'm sure NSANY was relieved.

Irishfan on other hand, bummer.

But saving grace for Irishfan is that ZISME now says that R, S, T have nothing to do with production schedule either! Could be good for Irish, but then bad again for NSANY.

What to do... who to believe....when will I get my car....

The most interesting information is that I thought my car was going to be shipped to a seattle port....NOT, per my dealer and new car manager: My car will arrive in LA, per dealer currently all units built in japan come to a port in Los Angeles...after vehicle inspection, vehicle is sent by rail to a railhead in portland, then it will be sent by truck to my dealership. So I am an "R" and no august delivery as I was originally told..can anyone shed any additional light on this?

I finally got the tracking #! I am not pleased if our info on these threads is correct. I ordered March 1st. Order# is T308770 an October delivery would suck. I did,on the bright side, get this from my dealer! I was stunned! Dvlad if your out there CALL them. I got it last night from Dean Collins the GM at Gearld. Im sure he has your too. Jeff, if you know, Say it ain't so! I want my ride in August or September! 3 more months! I think they will have to take me away!!!

Just got my order # from my dealer. T308660. They put me on the phone with the regional rep. He asked 'if there was some kind of internet rumor about tracking numbers', as he has gotten tons of calls in the past couple of days. Said my delivery date was October 31 +/- two weeks. Also said expected this could improve.

I previously listed my order date as Feb 28. It was actually Feb 25! Noticed the difference on the chart, could you please update.
