Called dealer. . . I have a R#. I do not wish to post the full number, but he said it is scheduled for Aug 2002. Add to list if you want. The funny thing is ZISME told me September. I will hope for September but might be blessed in August. I am happy either way.

Maybe you can post it but leave off the last 2 digits? After reading your other thread, I agree that VIN#'s shouldn't be posted, but we can just post a "yes" when VIN is received. As for the tracking/order number, I removed the last 2 characters from everyones number for my spreadsheet. That leaves 100 possible options for the final 2 digits. Totally up to you though.

 

Yes thats cool with me, this is just a tracking number anyway and will mean nothing in a month or so.

I talked to my Dealer this morning to get this information and he said that this " S Or R" May have something to do with when they are built but he said it has noting to do with when its going to be delivered. He has One "R" and its ariving at the same time as the rest. He is getting 3 in the first shipment. And mine is one ot them.

 

Although I ordered on 2/1, received my 1st confirmation on 2/18, have my dealers only pre-order, (you get the drift) ...

I asked about R numbers on her inventory list and the first 5 were. She said she just talked to her regional contact and they didn't have VINS for the R numbers yet, don't know if that helps.

 

don't know if this means anything, but irishfan and I are the only ones with a 'T' so far...

we both ordered Touring Chrome...I haven't seen any S or R with that combo.

Just spoke with dealer. He receives a daily fax on the 350Z (he only received one preorder allocation). As of this morning, still July production/September delivery. No VIN#

To add to the confusion:

Just got off the phone with my dealer. He has7 Z's on order. He has received order numbers and deliveries for 4 of them. One is an RXXXX and the others are SXXXXX. The RXXXXX and one of the SXXXX's will be delivered in September. The other 2 SXXXX units will come in October. My car is not among the 4 he has order numbers for, even though miine was ordered a month before one of the SXXXX cars. Mine is the only one with a Nav system.

Have any other cars with Nav systems gotten order numbers?

 

Is the tracking number on the confirmation package that over 50% didn't receive?
