I find it funny how they try to come up with excuses for owning a fugly car. Like not getting attention and not getting pulled over. Who doesn't like to get some attention?

 

whatever... too bad evo looks 100000000000000000000000000 times better than uglyass STI.

 

HAHAHA!!! its pretty funny how they are really ignorant of the Z. Stock for Stock Z kills WRXs and can give a STi a hard time. from personal experiences

 

Well, to their credit, at least they're not as arrogant as the Porsche forums. At least the STi guys take it in stride.

 

yeah, well if we had a turbo stock hum. lets see our cars would blow the doors off wrx sti, and evos, were NA so i mean its more of an accomplisment to have a 400 whp z then to own a 400 whp sti that has a strong motor and a turbo. A few bolt ons and your evo or sti is up to 400 hp like a 35r turbo, my friend is over 500 hp whp in his evo! it was only about 3,500 to upgrade inclueding head studs for the block, i mean where not awd ! i wish but o well we look better and can get just as fast if not faster then the ugly sti and evo, They are built for rally, nice car just eak ugly as hell! O and we can drift HAHA ! take that !

I used to like the way the STi looked. Then the came out with the '06 body styling
It has a roof spoiler too!

 

they're not all that ugly. you guys are pretty biased though. For one thing, once you switch out to rally headers, they sound like butt and the sex apeal of a flat 4 goes away.

there insults on the z are like lil kids hating on some one for having something better. they dont even have a big reason to hate on z.. agree with ^^ also

 

i'm sorry but i just can't stand sti's or most of the people that drive them..... the way i look at it a wrx is more the type of car you get if you are a guy who is somewhere around 16-21 and wants a car that youc an easily make go fast. on the other hand the z is more of a prestigious car that may take more work to gain speed but has much more potential.

sti's are like the reverse of ricers.... they're fast as hell but they look like if you took your grandmas car and added a scoop and a spoiler......

 

I have always been a big fan of the subaru's, evo's too actually... I'm even a registered member on clubwrx.net... even the 06 styling is starting to grow on me....but I must say those subie guys have some lame *** comments...

The z's interior feels cheap? Definitely not compared to the subaru's
The Z sounds bad?!?!? I was pretty appalled by that one. Even most auto magazine's rave about how good the vq35de sounds. I like the way the boxer engines sound too, but those subaru guys must really only like the sound of a flat 4.
G35>Z - just weird considering most of those guys bought the subarus for performance over the looks of the Z... but they would rather have a heavier slower version of the Z? Dont get me wrong I'm a fan of the G too, but in my book less weight > back seat.

I guess I just dont get it. All because some dumb 17 year olds didnt like someones STi.

The STi is bad ***... so is the Z... whatever.

 

Lets face it, looks matters in this world. Ask the average non car enthusiast person to pick between the wrx and the Z. Of course they'll pick the Z, it just looks damn good compared to the shopping cart. It's like having a civic that can beat a viper on a drag, but in the end... the ladies go for the guy that has the viper. Why? coz it looks damn gooooodd. amen?

well you have to admit for 30k you get an awd 300hp/300torque sti, its an awesome deal. its true these 2 cars can't be compared they are completely different. if any of you guys have actually sat in an sti or evo, it feels like your getting punched in the stomach when that thing takes off

 

guys...the original post was that sti owners are immature? what has THIS thread come to? you guys are hipocrits...stop being babies and talking out of your butts. lets show some maturity especially if we're going to make fun of other people for the same thing u guys are doing
