I thought I would put my 2 cents in here....as I had the same 2 TSBs last year. I took my car to the dealer and spoke to the service tech and told her, "I think my car is suffering from 2 TSBs...the axle click and window grease". She took one look at both of my windows and then had me pull forward to hear the click. Then she was like "yeah, sounds like TSBs....ok well give you a call when she's finsihed".

I didnt get a loaner, but it was nice to be in and out in literally 10 min.

 

and i have met John several times and he is the most stand up, straight shooting guy i have ever met.

i bought a nismo exhaust from his dealership and bought some lighted led marker lights from him.

he however couldnt help me out with my L.E.D. jdm tail lights

 

listen stand up guy or not there is a little something called respect for the customer. Obviously you are not the owner and dont have an owner mantality. You further the distain people have for car dealerships. Listen 41K is a nice price to pay for a car. And the people whom work there make enough money so they are not complete idiots. They just like to treat people like they are stupid since they hate there job and have become bitter. There is a reason lexus, BMW, have a good reputation for service they actually pretend not to be bitter. They put on a nice show for the customer then laugh behind there back. So do us a favor and go buy another gold ring, or necklace, or fake rolex. As for me I demand good service for my money. I treat people with respect and expect the people whom service my car to knowledgable and cheerfull. Listen the best thing to do is to find someone who has a friend at the dealership and make sure they watch out for your car. Me personally I ran the finance department for a highline dealership years ago so I know how mean and nasty and abusive customers can be as well but thats what you sign up for when you are in the auto business.

 

No it is not. they have a living to make just as we do. if someone came onto my train (im a rail road engineer) and talked to me the way you guys talk to dealership guys/girls, i would throw you straight off the train!

if i came into your place of employment and talked to you the way people talk to car guys, you would ask me to leave.

because they are in cars doesnt make them targets for abuse.

and if you believe that it does then you need to grow the hell up

 

ok well you dont work on commission my man. You drive a train. Obviously you have never owned a business and when you work on commission its like your own little business. Oh and by the way I never said it was ok to talk nasty to people, i just said that especially in that business you have to deal with it. Because auto dealerships have been ripping people off for so long they are autmoatically on the defensive when they walk in. Oh and by the way I am grown and dont need any adivice from you so go throw some coal in the burner.

 

how is it car dealerships have been screwing
people for years? for selling a product for as much as they can? how is that what screwing someone. you do it everychance you get. that is what America is founded on. the retail industry is the largest industry in the world.

i highly doubt you have EVER worked for a dealership to be truthfull, let alone have run a finance department. you are to immature. hell, i doubt you even have a 350z

now if you really believe that a service advisor should have to take abuse because "he signed up for it" then you are a real worthless peice of your fathers seeman . now being a black man i take what you said about throwing coal as a racial comment and i dont appreciate your racial comments and insults

Been here lot longer then that, participated in other forums and have been in the z community for over 10 years. But i will be happy to grow up but i certanly will not follow in your footsteps that's for sure. I think I will continue on the path I am on now. I think I will be ok, and for what its worth Mr. high and mighty i will never grow up i enjoy my life and certainly am glad i decided to be an business man so that i would not grow up to be a nasty old grumpy guy whom directs a train. OOPS I meant engineers a train.
