Default Potential Buyers: BEWARE of member Zcar03

This guy ripped me off $150.00 for 2 Bridgestone tires 245/45/18. I paid him on July 27th, 2006. He stated to me the next day he got the payment and would send out the tires on 07-31-06. On that day I pm this guy and asked for the shippers name and tracking #. I did this from 07-31-06 thru 08-05-06. He did read all the pm's within 2 hours of me sending them. He tells me on 08-05-06 that he has not been online and he doesn't come here everyday, but I have in my confirmed read box, in the pm section the time and date that he read each one of those email. He then go on to tell me that the tires are at the shop getting taken off, this was on Saturday and he was going to box them up and ship them . First, I've never heard of anyone boxing up tires to ship them, next he say's I'm not patient and that I only have 11 post here. I could care less how many post I have here, if I pay you up front for a product and you tell me that you are going to ship on a certain day, I would think at least you could do is let me know that you are having some difficulties getting it to happen on that day, not just reading the pm's and not responding.

Zcar03 asked if I wanted a refund, I told him YES, as of today I still don't have my refund nor the shipping information (not that I want it now). I told him that I already bought new tires after he refused to answer my pm's and I didn't want to do business with him.

It's only 150.00 but like I told him, I don't want to give that to someone I don't know. This was my first attempt to purchase on this site. I guess this is one bad apple you always have one in every bag. Will see if he Refunds my money.

sorry for the bad experience and yes believe it or not there are people on this site who would screw you just like anywhere else....just because we all share the same passion does not mean we all share the same moral responsibility, not trying to bash zcar03 but if somebody sent me a pm about a product i sold them and i have not shipped it then it would be courteous to respond and advise....sorry man, i hope you get a refund or your product...

I read the thread that you are referring to here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=206116

I do not believe that Zcar03 was trying to pull a fast one on you. That's a considerable amount of PM's in just two hours, just take it easy.

Sven,
You are reading it wrong or maybe I miss stated, it was 7pm's from 07-31-06 thru 08-05-06 that he read and fail to respond. Regardless now the only thing he should do is Refund the money and I'll be happy. About 1 email a day.

Damn dude.. 6 days? I'm a little impatient myself, but if you're not comfortable doing business with individuals who might just not care enough to take the time to get you your stuff immediately, maybe you should stick to retailers.

Hopefully you'll get you refund so he can get his name back. =)

IMO...too impatient, allow the guy some time, and if he doesn't ship to you...file claim w/ paypal...

be patient my friend... i once dealt with someone like you. i agreed to ship out some kinetixs t pipes and he said he would give a certain amount of money shipped. i agreed and since he live in a real rural area shipping was expensive so i pm him and said i could ship out but i would be slow cause it was going parcel post(slow *** mail) by a week later he was accusing me of being this and that even called paypal!! i was like wtf you need to be patient its not my fault you live in the middle of nowhere. ect. ect. but point is some people pay for stuff and expect the seller to ship it the instant he receives money. its not an internet store!!lol. people have jobs, fam ect.

If you buy something from someone 6days is enough time to ship it out. If you need longer then you should let the buyer know. When I sell something I ship within 1 or 2 days. If your quick to take someones money then ship the product.

That my point exactly. I would not have cared if it took him a month to ship, only if he ha had relayed that to me. He sent me an email saying he was going to ship out on the 07-31-06. If you purchase something from me and I tell you a date I'm going to ship and I don't on that date, I would have the courtesy to let you I didn't and tell you when I would. I for sure would not go a week without some type of conversation with you. I also would not ignore your pm's for a week.

The only issue I have is that he read the pm's each day and still didn't respond. It's obvious he was ignoring them.
