how do you clean the bose cd player?

Default how do you clean the bose cd player?

my factory bose system skips on every single disc i put in there. this happens randomly about half the time i drive. how do i clean the cd player?

Sounds like a defective unit. I'd discuss a replacement with your local Nissan dealership. CD players have been around for well over 20 years. You'd think they'd have it down by now.....

If your still under your 3 year/36k mile warranty the dealership will replace it for free.

trash it and put something worth while in there.

if it skips and you've had it for over 3 years it just might be dust on the laser lens that reads the CDs. A laser head cleaner from radio shack (about $5) might do the trick. Its a CD with a small brush on it that you put in the cd player and it cleans the lens as it plays. Worth a try before spending lots of $ on a replacement unit

mine did the same thing and dealer told me that best they could do was send it to Nissan for repairs. Take it to a field and smash the crap out of it, with scarface music playing in the background! (office space)
