windshield wiper brrrrrretttt noise?
I've had my Z for about 2 months and the right wiper blade continues to make that annoying rubbing, vibrating "brrrrrretttt" noise on the window when moving back down. It did this right after I bought it, but seemed to clear up for a couple of rains, but now that it's raining again, it started up again and is pretty bad. I've tried delaying the wiper until the window is real wet (if it isn't raining so hard) and tried speeding up the wiper.
I'm just curious. Has anyone else had this problem? Did you have the dealer change it out?
Thanks for reading this.

if it gets frozen its possible for the blade to freeze in a set position. also if you use them too much, as in before the glass is really wet, it can wear them out very rapidly.
you could probably get a new set since they are cheap, and its not worth them annoying you over. go for it. might wanna try some aftermarket wipers tho... they tend to work a little better, just dont go cheap on them, real good ones are only like 10 or 15$.
if it makes you feel any better my moms mercedes wipers dont get rid of any water and they leave huge rubber marks on the glass. they are THE WORST.

Dang Wayne, nice spelling of brrrrrretttt. I understood exactly what you meant.
Anyway, try replacing the wiper refill. That will probably fix it. Also you could try some RainX for a temporary fix.

You need to wipe down the windshield with distilled vinegar or some other type of solvent. Your wipers are leaving a residue on the windshield and causing theme to vibrate. It's like you are trying to run a CA waterblade over a rubber surface, it will hop and make that noise.
