I cant understand how some of u guys get even 25mpg. Could there be something wrong with my Z?! All opinions welcome.
1) I Hope you reset your gas meter after every fill.

2) Check your air filter.

3) I hope your NOT using 87 or 89! Please only use 91 or above, its not your car's fault that gas is expensive!

Having said that, i usually Avg about 19.5 with 80% city and 20% highway.

The only time i get below 15 mpg is when i'm tracking my car.

Hope that helps..

Sounds like you need to reset the meter. When I reset it, the gauge bounces all over the place then levels out after about 5 miles. Unless you're driving in nothing but bumper to bumper traffic or racing, you should be getting at least 18mpg. I average 20 in city, 28.8 on highway.

You have to drive in the freeway at least half the time or it will average lower because of stop and go.

Freeway and local 320 miles total on a fill up

local alone 260

going to San Francisco one way trip stopping once just in case over 350

I got over 24 mpg driving back from GRD after my motor build doing a few pulls along the way - 8.8:1 CR and 14lbs max boost. Around town I have not seen less than 18 mpg regardless of how hard I drive the car.

With that, I would say something may be up with your car, or your lower right extremity is the definition of a 'lead foot'

I have never been below 20 mpg, even beating the hell out of it. If I drive 65-70 MPH cruise on the way to work (mostly highway) I can get like 26-28. Driving 55 mph, over 30, easily.

i don't know how many miles my car can go per gallon, but sometimes i get460 miles per tank, and it still has 20 miles left. it's highway driving in this case.

When you fill up after 460 miles, look at the gallons on the gas pump. Diveide the gallons into the miles, and that's mile-per-gallon.

Ya gotta reset that thing every once in awhile...I drove up from Texas and got 29 mpg and forgot to reset it after driving in town a bunch and was amazed it was still that high...until I checked my MPG at the pump and realized it was lower than 29 haha

Normally highway driving I get around 28 but when its a lot of in town its more around 24 25...
