Default Some Advice Wanted for my 30k Service

Allright guys. tomorrow morning im taking the Z in for a 30k service and im thinking about taking it to performance nissan but they are sooo damn far away!

Mainly the reason i want to take it there is cuz im worried about my car being damaged.

Should i be worried about taking it to a nissan dealership tahts fairly local but that ive had good experiences with?? will they need to put my car on the lift and stuff to achieve the things the work on for the 30k miles??

Thanx guys. i just dont want my car to get damaged but was a lil unsure about what work is being done for the 30k and how worried i should be about takin it to a local nissan dealer.

Im lowered allot with a body kit etc.

Whatever you do at Performace nissan see Tim Larsen for any service. He will take excellent care of you when you go down there.

I dunno Brian I'd be safe than sorry the way some of these bozos in service treat cars. The thing with Performance is they get a ton of modified Z's so they are customed to that type of clients as opposed to other stealerships.

I'd rather go to someplace that I know will treat my car well, then someplace I'd have to worry about. I don't want to have to stand at a window watching them work on my Z the entire time b/c I'm worried they'll fck something up. you might also want to make sure they use a 2 point lift for your Z if its dropped w/ a body kit.

I went to my performance shop for mine, the same guys that have done most of my installs. We went through everything on the list, and changed/replaced only the things that were needed. I felt better and ended up spending less. Plus i switched to synthetics.

I know one thing, next time I'm bringing the car for service anywhere the sideskirts are coming off. It makes things so much easier for them.

This is not brain surgery; if you trust your local shop take it there.

I don't trust any Nissan dealerships, they are all hacks and typically dont' even what is going on with SBs or anything else, IMO.

Do the work yourself, save $600. My experience with Nissan and other manufacturers is, the warranty is only a piece of paper with squiggly lines on it. Nissan worms out of most things and don't stand behind their product (when it really amounts to something).

If you must perform a 30k mile service, take it to a non-dealership and save 1/2 to 1/3 the dollars.
