Just curious if anyone could help me locate a dealer that has a 06 Base (Color- any silver or black) with Side airbags around the oklahoma area. I'm willing to drive so any of the surrounding states would be fine.

I think you should be able to use nissanusa.com's build your 350z tool, and locate a dealer that has something in stock close to it...

I would try that. If not, best bet is to use autotrader.com and search for "New" 350zs in your area.

 

Thanks for the tip, however, both nissanusa and autotrader have no option to search if they have side airbags or not. I'm just trying to get away from having to call every dealer in surrounding states.

 

Why are side airbags such a concern? I would think that would be abou #702 on the list of "things I need in my 350z".

 

Unfortunately if the two websites I offered don't list side airbags you don't have many other options other than visiting or calling dealers.

The easiest way to ensure you get the side airbags is to order your 350z to your specifications... Just another option as I don't think anyone here is going to pipe up, "I know of a silver 350z with side airbags at X and Y Dealer".

 

You can use Nissan/USA site to locate dealers anywhere. just change to a different city & search within 100 miles. When you see one that floats your boat, call dealer to ask about side airbags.

I agree on side airbags.

Not that you asked but I'd look for an Enthuaiast; lots of goodies for not many more $$$$.

a lot of base Zs come with optional factory side airbags...chances are pretty good locating one. They also come with the optional chrome kick plates

 

You may be searching for something which does not exist.

Its August. The 2007 will be on the lot in 5 months.

The Base is the least popular model.

Options such as side air curtains are reserved for the more expensive models.

 

davidv is on the money; the only way to get a base with side airbags is to special order your own Z...

touring and up models (generally speaking) would come 'standard' with the side airbags. I say 'standard' b/c I'm sure they still charge you for them even on the touring, but I think nissan built many touring and > Zs (without special orders) with the side airbags.
