Angry Lexus Dealership

I went to a lexus dealership the one where i bought my black 03 350Z. When i bought it the passenger side door handle was ripped off. They Said dont worry about it we will take car of it. So i left the car for one day, the day after i bought it. a week later a call gets me to bring my car back to get the door done. So all goes well door handle is on they also cleaned my car too made my pedals all slippery, door handle fixed and all (looking nice and clean). about an hour later i decide to open the window and bam it wont open. So my question is should i miss a day of work and drive an hour to the dealership or maybe i can do it myself i just need some info on how to take the door panel offf without breaking it. Any Suggestion Please it would really help.

He probably does not have a warranty hence the 03 Model?

Why didn't you check it when you picked the Z up from the Lexus dealer?

+1 on the window lock...

If its not the window lock I would take it back to lexus since they will probably do it free of charge... Check with them also because they might work on Saturdays so you don't have to miss work.

if it's the window regulator issue and you're out of warranty...which I bet you are, being that it's an '03 model, then you can fix the regulator yourself on an off-day from work:

Thanks alot guys its really nice having tons of solutions come from fellow Z owners. Fortunatly it was the window lock, i wasnt even aware i had one, i completely forgot. I feel really really dumb now but Lexus isnt off the hook yet as they didnt fix a crack in my door panel i asked nicely too. So my nect question is whether i can tape it or reinforce itr spmehow from the inside and how do i get to take the door panel off.
Once again thanks for all your help

awesome, glad to see everything is taken care of. me personally, i would have lexus fix the simple stuff but when it comes complex, i would only trust nissan. they have all the guides and such and if you need to pay, then that is what you must do. me personally i never take delivery of a car unless everything is fixed.
i told a dealership i wasnt going to take their vette unless they changed all the tires (they were all dead) and fixed the power seat. they did it without question. the funny part is that i didnt take the vette and so they had brand new tires on it and a fixed seat.

Lol nice no the lexus dealership was selling the car with brand new proxes T1R's all around and the door handle was no problem however the door panel is cracked on the inside and i can see the unconformity. so im wondering can i tape it from the inside or reinforce it to keep the sides alligned?

Good stuff. Its always a great feeling when you don't have to fork out money for something like that. When the rx330 was at the lexus dealership, they gave another rx330 as the loaner car, i thought that was pretty sweet, but when I got the rx330 home after being serviced, I noticed they dinged the door and there were some new scratches!!! My pops is talking to them, hopefully it gets taken care of.
