Default Mod bug

wtf, the mod bug is terrible with this car. even when i buy a mod, i want almost immediately remove it and get something better or different. for some reason im starting to upgrade my stereo system which i spent a good deal of money 8 months ago. ive some how ended up with a spare set of kinetix and crawford hfc's. someone please shoot me before i go crazy modding this damn car! i spend hours just looking on vendor websites for more stuff to buy. ugh! help!

I was going to change out my valve stem caps once.

Then I decided I better not.

I didn't want to get bit by the mod bug.

These forums do it... Bought a 2005 ZX-6R and was going to keep it stock... not a chance after I joined kawiforums. Planned to keep this car stock.. that lasted less than a week after joining this forum.

On the bright side, we get to make very informed purchasing decisions. I consider it a necessary evil.

Stop reading about all the cool stuff out there! If you can rationalize that the new stuff is probably only incrimentally better than the stuff yhou already have (especially when you consider that what ever you spent on the old stuff is now simply a waste, unless you can sell it, and then for only a portion of what you spent) then maybe you can just sit back and enjoy a remarkable car with, what is sounds like, is some already great mods. I fear that in this country we are so driven by 'new stuff' that we really never settle down and enjoy what we have. It will be hard, but really, you need to stop looking at those web sites. Good luck...
