Wrong. Total driver race in a straight line, they have superior handling on a course.

Plenty of S2Ks out there that would embarass you and me.

Z is quite a bit heavier and feels stable at high speeds, S is light and has razor sharp, go-kart-like handling. Two completely different machines both with their own pros and cons. The only way you'll know which one is right for you: Testdrive them both and testdrive them a LOT. You won't know by driving 10 minutes.
Listen to the wise above.

I used to drive a 2000, fun car but, so small, and you had to rev it way high to get anything out of it. I just bought a 2006 Z, I'm not missing the Honda.....at all.

Get the S2k. Better resale value. Trust me.

I'd rule out the S2000...because the car is too tiny for the simple act of fellatio to be performed.

i test drove both and was really dissapointed with the s2000 off the line, so much so i didnt even play with it past 60. i turned around and bought the Z. i thought the Z was more "classy" and more refined. not to mention the S2000 has a crappy radio, and the interior in my opinion looked crappy as well....if i am gonna fork out that much money, in my opinion the Z is a better choice..

Here's a simple guide to distinguish the Honda S2000 owner from the 350Z owner. After taking a precise measurement if you find you ***** is LESS than 8(eight) inches buy the S2000. If on the other hand your ***** is LARGER than 8(eight) inches you are duty bound to buy a 350Z. BTW I have a 350Z.

S2000's should win most of the time (assuming both are good drivers and stick)
It has been pretty much proven over and over again, that both cars stock (and 6 speeds), it will be very close down low, but up top (>90-100MPH), the Z will pull away. Not that it's very smart to be racing at over 100MPH though, anyway.

I've had both an S2000 and a 350Z and the 350Z is much better all round. The s2000 becomes a pain to drive as you either have to rag the nuts off it or it pootles along like a MX5. I was told this before and I said I liked the thought of driving around in high revs all the time, but in reality it becomes a pain in the ****. Also I went through 3 sets of rear tyres in a year just through normal wear and tear driving around 17,000 miles. So forget about the S2000, you will only regret it

not only those points above but I was in this same predicament about 2 months ago and decided on the z i test drove both and liked the feel of the z better. Not only that but 1 of my doctors had an s2000 and a few of his friends also and they said that their seats would get stolen all the time. They couldnt really do much about it becuase of the cloth top, they even tried seat locks but they'd still find ways around that. I don't feel too comfortable wishing my roof isnt slashed and my seat is still intact everytime I step out to go somewhere.

i think it depends what your looking for in the car. the s2000 is a nice car but it is not too fast compared to the 350z and it is very small. the 350z is a bigger car and you can fit some nice rims with a lip. on the s2000 you cant really fit a rim with a lip. its your choice though.

What do you mean the s is not too fast compared to the z? They're almost identical in terms of straightline acceleration, unless the race is taken to 100+ miles per hour.
