But when the sausage will be available for purchase.
The retailer can't tell you,
Even though you put your order in with him.
Where to go,
to get an idea,
of when to expect delivery,
within a reasonable time frame.
The regular is made at one time,
The spicy at another,
The italian at another.
You just want to know,
When yours will be available,
For consumption.
Is it still a pig?
Is it now minced meat?
Is it sausage in bulk?
Is it packaged?
On the truck?
At the distribution center?
At the retailer?
Who can answer your questions?

RxO,
That is one of the best analogies to the production process I've read.
Maybe it's because it's 8:30 in the morning and I haven't had breakfast. Sausage sounds good right now!
Thanks for making me even hungrier.
