Default Second Picture?

What is the second picture? It kinds look like the runner for the intake manifold -- the upper part?

By asking what it is made of you mean the runner itself or something else?

Ja

all those pictures are of stock pieces... i just happened to be tearing the intake down to the manifold/runners...

i was asking if anyone knew what the stock valves were made of... i dont think i ever heard what they were for sure.

here is a pic of the underside of the lower collector... this mounts onto the manifold...

Default Valve Material

I thought in the "Lust then Love" History of Z car book they talked about the engine technology with a section about the valves? I could be wrong.

Otherwise I would bet someone on the Maxima forums would know. Those guys are crazy into mods.
