Default Problem With 2006 350z

Alright guys I got some bad news. I just noticed, other then my rear axle clicking, I noticed the much talked about WINDOW GREASE on my driver side!!! Its coming from the outside of the window. Only have 7k miles on her. Can the dealer fix these 2 problems?

I would think this would be covered under the warranty.
The dealer fixed the grease streaks on my 03, but both driver and passenger doors were affected, and the grease was on the inside of the windows, not outside. My car had grease streaks from day one.
Nissan issued a TSB for the 03's. I didn't know grease streaks were a problem on 06's.

Outside?? Wow my 03 has it, but from the inside. I did not take it in because I don’t want them tearing my car apart, and frankly it doesn’t bother me much. Take it in they can fix it, although I have heard stories of having to take it in several times for the job to be performed properly. I did not think this was a problem in the 06.

Rear axle clicking? Why wouldn't the dealer fix it?

Are you sure the window streaking is not caused from wet weatherstripping? I havent heard of anyone with an 06 that had that problem.

I have the window streaks issue on both windows of my 2003.

No more warranty left so I can live with having to clean them. Evenutally they'll have to stop streaking........right?

I've found the occasional streak on my glass from time to time on my '06, but not grease. It's more like what camaro194 suggested, some crap that got in the weather strip, or was on the window and smeared by the strip.

It's a grease substance on the outside of mine, but I've only noticed it for the first time this last weekend. It wasn't there b4 and doesn't seem to happen now, iduno...

I have an 06 with 13k and my drivers side has lots of streaks and I'm sure that one larger spot on the top rear of it is definately grease. Have to go take her in to get my ac line replaced so I might have them look at it but honestly its not really that big of a deal to me

I don't have any issues. But yes, the warranty alone will cover it, not need for an existing TSB in this case.

I am not 100% sure, but I dont think you need to be under warranty for them to fix it.

The rear axle clicking is covered under warranty. I just had my rear clicking taken care of at the local dealership. Only took 1 1/2 hours to complete, they did both sides for me at once so I never have to come back if the other side started to click.
