How long until you modded?
At 6000 miles, I had a Kaaz LSD (traded my 17" Volk TE37's from my EP3 for it... I know, not worth it). Then swapped it out for a Nismo around 10K. Goodyear Eagle F1-GS-D3 at 17K. K&N drop-in filter (because our filters are so ridiculously easy to change) at 19K. No mods since then, and currently at 24K.
Find out what it is you want to upgrade. Sound system, cosmetic, performance etc. search around on the site and see what it is you like and how it looks on diffrent z's.
Good Luck the modding part for me anyways is something that will never end there will always be something I want to do or change.

With my Honda, I order **** the day I got it, but with the Z the parts are so much more expensive so I'm having to accessorize first with the smaller things. I only had it about two 3 months now!
Stuff started arriving a few weeks before the car did. Exhaust, CAI, and tires were installed by the dealer a day after the car arrived. Body Kit went on the next week. Everything was done before the odo had 400 miles on it.
I had the Konis and Eibach FSB on the car within a month of its arrival. All of the parts (extra set of wheels, DOT-R tires, Konis, Eibach sway bars) were at my home 3 months before the car even showed up -- but it WAS ordered!
I was even planning on doing my first National Tour event four weeks after the car arrived, but my "CFO" informed me that I'd be sleeping in the car when I got back.
