Default How long until you modded?

How long after you purchased your car did you start putting in modifications like a body kit, new wheels, brake kit, etc...? Is it something most people do right away? just curious.. thanks.

Didn't you have your wheels/lip kit/drop on the car a few days later?

I actually bought a popcharger and a shorty antenna the week before I recieved my car. I had the car about 6 months before I got wheels for it.

Almost 2 years mod-free and still going.

I bought BFG KDW2s to replace the stock RE040s at about the 1 year mark. But tires really don't count as modding.

Been considering getting a K&N drop in.

<---already got most of the mod bug out of my system.

While my buddy (the finance manager) was doing my paperwork, I was using his computer to order parts.

I got my pop charger like a month or so after I bought the Z, then I got a new HU probaly 2.5-3 months after owning and I just bought the nismo v2 front and ing n-spec rear the nismo v2 cf spoiler w/base being redline. So I took almost 6 or more months to complete the modding. If the front and rear hadn't been fked up from wrecks I would've never changed them so I guess the wrecks helped speed up the modding process. Now I need to get some wheels lol. That will be a while from now since I not only want to do an 18" and 19" staggared set but also would be getting new tires and rims. And well untill I either go back to iraq or I can get a good bonus from the army by re-enlisting as a cav it ain't comin anytime soon lol

What's funny is back in the day my stock Z got just as many looks as my modded one does now. It's funny what you have to do to keep up with the times. There are stock 350z's every 50 yds on the roads here.

Went straight from the dealer to my buddies shop. Left the car there for a week and worked on it during the evenings.
