Default Bob Sharp Nissan In Wilton CT HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT!

So today i went over to Bob Sharp Nissan in Wilton CT to look at a Silverstone Enthusiast Edition Z. I called the dealership and spoke to a woman named Gina 3 days before and asked if they had the car i was looking for. She said yes and so i told her i was gonna go see the car the next day. On my way over there (it's an hour away from me but i heard it was a great dealership) I called them up on the phone to tell them i was coming and a salesperson named Scott informed me that the car had been "sold" . I was PISSED to say the least because i was nearly at the dealership. I knew he was lieing to me and that they never actually had the car they just wanted my business so that when i got there they would then locate one. I'm just stunned by the fact 2 salesperson's at dealership that has a great reputation would lie. But i guess they work on commission so who knows. I really wanted to see the Z

Same thing happen to me, I found the Black Roadster with BO Netted seats on Nissan Web page, so I called the dealership just to make sure they still had it since it was almost a 2 hr drive, they said yes we still have it and its parked right out front... So I drive down there the same day, I get there and I don't see it anywhere on the lot, So I talked to the sales person I talked to on the phone and he like, ya im sure its around here somewhere, after about 10 mins of looking around I spotted it in the very back storage yard with a SOLD sign on it... They sold it 3 days ago, then the guy proceeds to try and sell me a black coupe... I was freakin pissed, I even told the guy on the phone that I was driving 2 hrs to see it and he assured me it was sitting right out front... This is just another reason I won't deal with salesman, I go right to the sales manager so I dont have to deal with the B.S.

ROFL...... .....****ing great!

Out of all the cars i have owned, i have never had that problem. They tend not to mess around when i tell them that i am going to a dealership down the road that have what i want........

SKIMMASTER

Sorry to hear about your experience man. I got my Z from the same place with really good service. It was my first time buying a car and they actually made it a semi non frustrating situation. I have heard sooo many war stories of people buying their first car and how its so hellish. Honestly man I am really sorry to hear that they did that to you, it must have been a serious mishap. If you ever come across them again ask for RUDY, he will lead you in the right direction.

I bought my Z from Bob Sharp. BTW, they are changing their name to Bruce Bennet for some reason.

EVERYTIME I go there I leave just a little annoyed. Too many things to write about but I've decided NOT to go back there unless I absolutely have to.

Is there a good dealer in the area anywhere?

I got my Z last month at Grossman's Nisssan in Old Saybrook, CT. Pretty good experience. Call there and ask for Patti Dunn, she was a pretty good person to deal with.

A salesman lied to you? that's what they do. I thought you were going to say he soiled your shoes or spiked your coffee.. Sad to hear he wasted your time.. good luck finding the Z you want.

Well... I've worked with a couple of car salesman. I can tell you for sure that they are in general honest, hard working, untalented, mis-treated, and under paid. They have no reason to lie to anyone because if you don't want to buy the car someone else will. Sure, there are always exceptions but (new car) car salesman reputation is a lot worst than the reality.
