IMO it wouldnt look good. Too much metal flake clashing of diff color pearls. you can try it but i have a feelign it would look like butt.

I like MB better not because of the color as much as the quality. It seems Nissan is improving there paint as the years go by, and the quality of my MB looks better than my friends SB. Other than that, they both look great, nothing more sexy than a black Z!

Default Pic of my MB...

Here is a close up pic of my MB '06...I love the color, adds a little more interest to a standard black I think.

You can see all the photos of my Z here: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pi...?id=2103072065

So basically...

SB = Flat black
MB = Black with flakes (like Lemans Sunset)

That's what I gathered from the comparison.

As for the unofficial my350z.com logo at the top right:

= SB ftw!

I don't consider the SB a flat black at all. When it's clean it's a rich, very dark black. The MB just adds flakes which lightens it up IMO.

i like the MB more...prob because i have one. but ya it is a pain to keep clean...i just saw a 06 lemans roadster with really shiny chrome wheels on the street..and wow my heart skipped a beat. that color is so beautiful when light is reflected upon it...the chrome wheels well, they're too chrome for me

I guess I used the wrong term, flat black to me is just black with no flakes. I didn't mean it is a dull black. Although when you put clear coat onto anything, it will have a glosssy finish...

Default Magnetic Black 06

Saw this 06 Magnetic Black in showroom and had to have it. Like anything else, a little extra effort to keep it clean is worth the comments I get.
