Cool Ran into(not literally) a nicely modded black Z

I was driving home tonight and saw a black Z as I was getting of the freeway so I sped up to catch up and waved and when we got to the light we talked about mods etc. Have to say I like the rims on that Z

Just wondering if anyone on here was that Z owner.

It was near hulen right of 30 in Ft Worth

Yea yea it probably should be in the Local forum but seriously who really checks those forums unless they have something they're looking for specifically

Guess it proves some Z owners are still cool heh, and not 50+ lol

You ran into another Z? For the love of god, why couldn't it have been another car, like a civic, or a bus, or an old lady....

Good. Love those rims. You're actually the first Z around here that I've seen who wasn't really old, and actually even acknowledged me. I'll be glad when all my stuff comes in so I can get rid of that hideous cracked bumper and spoiler.

Yea love my redline. Where do you usually take yours to get work done?

behind my house...lol in my driveway. I usally do everything myself. I havent done anything too extensive yet n this car. I had a SRT-4 before and learned a lot with tiinkering with it, so the Z is way easier to work on.

Ahh. About the only thing I was able to do was me and my buddy installed my plenum spacers and I managed to do that pretty well. Other than that not very mechanically inclined. Plus I'm impatient. Not that I wouldn't want to do my own stuff sometimes

I had them then I took em out because I ended up snapping one of the bolts when we re-installed it to make sure we didn't mess anything up.

When I had it I could feel a difference and I think it sounded a little louder. I'll be glad to see how the mrev++ makes it feel. I'd say for the price its a good mod. Good hp gain, better sound and no one knows its there. And hell if I can put it on with one of my buddies anyone can lol

do you have to take out the factory strut bar to make it fit?

No it fits perfectly with the stock one. Thats actually the hardest part is getting the strut bar back on because its kinda hard to get bothes sides lined up to reconnect it. If you work on your Z a lot it shouldn't take you that long
