I don't plan on driving my ZR in the rain. It is primarily a sunny weather fun car for top-down driving (I have never driven it with the top up over the last 3 months and 3,000 miles of ownership).

When it starts to rain, ZR will be resting in the garage while I temporarily switch to driving the Maxima, my daily driver.

The previous owner of mine drove it during the winter so it's been oil sprayed....everywhere even in the engine bay area. It's not pretty anymore but at least it repels water

that's bit of an overkill. its only water, not battery acid or paint remover. just dont drive the Z in the snow or hail.

Easy for you to say, you live in seattle where it rains every 5 minutes.... in LA... if/when it rains battery acid would be envious..
