auto because...
-never driven m/t before
-no one in my family/friends drives m/t that i could learn with
-would NOT want to learn on my z and possibly **** it up
-live in a hilly area, really don't want to deal with stalls and being a new m/t driver in a place where the car just rolls along on its own
-deal with morning and evening traffic every weekday for work and uh....no thanks. not fun.
that being said i got to 120 on the fwy yesterday, it was grand
my exit was coming up or else....

And it gives you a good i dea of what you can do in the Z as for top speed.
Also im an auto and i like it but the main reason i got the auto is because of the deal i got on the Z.

I've only driven a stick-shift once before I bought my 6MT Z. I knew A/T=

Besides, the '06 6MT Z's have the 300hp Rev-up motor....I couldn't pass that down.

In my old age I'm forgetful and worry about running the battery dead. With a m/t you can often push and pop the clutch to get it started so I opted for the manual. Seriously though, I prefer the driving experience of a 6 speed. But, if I lived and drove mostly in clogged traffic cities, my daily driver Z might have been an automatic.
